Leadership in Medical Affairs (Module 7)

IFAPP Academy in partnership with Tufts CSDD

Are you ready to bring your best self to the table?

The Leadership in Medical Affairs module explores and helps students build skills in key areas that will enable them to better earn their seat at the leadership table, bringing unique value to the business, stakeholders, and patients.

Module Description

Leadership has emerged as a key competency in Medical Affairs. This is the result of the increasing relevance of the Medical Affairs function in a dynamic healthcare environment with growing external and internal demands. In today’s Pharma industry, business success requires a strong Medical Affairs Leadership.

Existing programs on leadership are useful in providing fundamentals but fall short in addressing the specific challenges and needs of the Medical Affairs professional. With the desire to fill this need and contribute to accelerating the career development of the Medical Affairs professional, IFAPP Academy, in partnership with Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development (Tufts CSDD), developed an online (e-learning) course guided by the fundamental pillars of leadership applied in a practical manner to the realities of the Medical Affairs world.

Who should take this module?

Students attending IFAPP Academy/King’s College London, Medical Affairs in Medicines Development Certification Core Program (Modules 1-6) and alumni of IFAPP Academy are invited to register.

This course will be most beneficial to those individuals that believe leadership skills are an essential and differentiating component of career development and are committed to working on them.

We encourage to join those individuals that have recently been made responsible for leading a team, individuals that contribute to their organizations through leading complex cross-functional teams, or leaders that are preparing for a position with a higher level of accountability.
