Program Summary
  • Syllabus based on the PharmaTrain Base Course with focus on Medical Affairs in Medicines Development.
  • Learning outcomes aligned with the IFAPP-PharmaTrain Core Competencies in Medicines Development
  • Offered as blended e-learning, continuing professional development (CPD) accredited by King’s College London (King’s).
  • To be completed within a 42 week period.
  • Aimed to meet the cognitive aspects of the Core Competencies in Pharmaceutical Medicine/Drug Development Science (DDS) and the Statement of Competence.
  • Offered as 6 modules, each including ten (10) online asynchronous lectures with required reading, assignments, and bi-weekly synchronous webinars (4 per module) with the assigned module coordinators.
  • The modules will be offered bi-monthly in 2018.
  • At the end of each module an online assessment will be conducted.
  • After the successful completion of the 6 modules an overall assessment would be conducted.
  • Students successfully completing the six (6) modules and the end of program assessment will receive a Certificate granted by King’s College London and IFAPP Academy and a Professional Certification granted by IFAPP and the IFAPP Academy. The use of post-nominal letters (CMD) to attest certification will be awarded.
