Global Medical Lead for Sterile Injectables Director, Hospital BU, Pfizer New York HQ
Dr. Juliana (Judith) Hey-Hadavi was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After obtaining her dental and medical degrees at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, she moved to Canada where she continued her medical training in Internal Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
In 1994, she moved to New York where she completed her fellowship training in Endocrinology at Columbia University. She continued her work at Columbia University in the endocrine department as an Assistant Professor directing multiple clinical trials, teaching, and providing patients’ care.
In 2001, she joined Pfizer and has been working in several key positions in medical, clinical, and early development programs in endocrinology, inflammation, and cardiovascular medicine. In 2010, she obtained her degree of Master in Pharmaceutical Science from Hibernia University in Ireland. Currently she is a Global Medical Lead for Sterile Injectables Director in the Hospital BU at Pfizer New York HQ.
Judith has contributed to numerous publications in dental and medical literature. She enjoys teaching and continues lecturing over the years as adjunct professor at SUNY Downstate University and Columbia University in New York. She is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She lives with her husband and 2 children in Westchester, NY. Her hobbies include tennis, biking, coaching sports, and travel.
